    Caitlin Coker

    Dr. Caitlin Coker is a Curriculum Developer and Academic Director for the 1-Week Medical Academies.

    She has been an instructor for the academies since 2021, enthusiastically sharing her passion for the human body. Dr. Coker received her Ph.D. in Anatomy from Penn State College of Medicine. She joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2020. Dr. Coker is now co-director of the Medical Gross Anatomy course, part of the pre-clinical medical curriculum. She is also involved with teaching in the Special Masters Program in Physiology curriculum at Georgetown University. She has received multiple Golden Apple teaching awards and was elected as the 2021 SMP Teacher of the Year. In 2022, she was inducted into the Golden Orchard for her teaching efforts.
