This summer, get a head start and earn college credit at Georgetown. Our college credit courses ease your transition into the college learning environment through a blend of lectures, class discussions, and hands-on application. You’ll have the opportunity to take classes alongside current undergraduate students, learn from prestigious Georgetown faculty, and engage in challenging coursework that will prepare you for success in college and beyond. Choose from our eight-week online courses, our five-week on-campus courses, or opt to do a combination of both.
College Credit Courses are offered during the following dates:
Main First Session: June 4–July 6, 2018
Main Second Session: July 9–August 10, 2018
Cross Session (Online): June 4–July 27, 2018

Summer Honors Intensive: If you’re seeking a more rigorous academic experience, you can take two courses per session, earning up to 12 total credits (a full semester at most universities). Students who complete two courses in a session will receive a Summer Honors Intensive Certificate upon completing their studies.
Online Courses: Select college credit courses are available in an online format during the eight-week Summer Cross Session. Online courses feature the same content as our on-campus courses, but in an entirely virtual format.
This program gave me a new perspective on college that I never had up until this point. Georgetown is an amazing school in an amazing city, and this program showed me that.
The program offers so much–from the off-site visits to the daily lectures and the on campus activities. The lectures were interesting, meeting new people was great and the off-site visits were interactive and intriguing.
This is a course that I would definitely recommend as both Georgetown and the professors were very hands-on and provided a great pre-university experience.
