Dr. Bagian received her doctorate in Anatomy from The Ohio State University, and joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology at Georgetown University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in 2023.

Bio and Featured Works

She has experience teaching anatomy to high school, undergraduate, graduate, and medical students, and currently teaches Gross Anatomy in the pre-clinical medical curriculum at Georgetown. Dr. Bagian's research is focused on body donation and the important role of the dissection experience in anatomical education, and she is passionate about working to improve the body donation process in the United States.
